Electric Field Control of the Ferro-paraelectric Phase Transition in Cu:KTN Crystals

Abstract

We demonstrate an efficient ferro-paraelectric phase transition in Cu-doped KTa1−xNbxO3 crystals using AC electric fields. The dynamic process is probed by a laser beam and characterized by a microscope and an X-ray diffractometer.
