Abstract

We have proposed a non-mechanical beam-steer lidar system, in which the laser sweeps to realize 1-D beam steering and ranging simultaneously. In the demonstrational experiment, angular coverage of 3.3° is achieved with a steering resoluiton of 0.19°. Meanwhile, the distance resolution is 1.8 mm over a distance of 1 m.
