Metasurfaces and ultrafast dynamics for high angular momentum compound optical fields

Abstract

Employing unique metasurface-based plasmonic generators and an ultrafast probing technique, we experimentally demonstrate plasmonic vortex compounds carrying arbitrary orbital angular momentum. These can be used for functional near-field shaping and sculpting of optical potentials.
