Wannier-Bloch approach to localization in high-order harmonic generation in solids

Abstract

High harmonic generation, HHG, in solids is a delocalized process, which is still intensely debated. Here, we develop a model what connects the well-understood HHG in atoms to the delocalization problem of HHG in solids.
