Giant AC Stark Effect in a Strongly-Coupled Light- Matter System

Abstract

We present the first experimental observation of a giant non-resonant dynamic Stark effect in strongly coupled microcavity exciton-polaritons – stronger than the Rabi splitting and over an order of magnitude stronger than previous observations.
