Abstract

Ultrafast correlation phenomena is studied on a newly discovered, 1144-type superconductor CaKFe4As4 for the first time. Broadband spectral-temporal visualization follows distinct pair breaking processes and reveal, strikingly, the build-up of a hidden correlated quasiparticle phase with an estimated gap of ~10 meV.
