Resolution-enhanced imaging with quantum correlations

Abstract

The resolution of optical systems is limited by diffraction. We exploit the spatial properties of correlated photon-pairs to reconstruct a super-resolved image made of bisectant pixel-coordinates, achieving 40% of the theoretical 2 optical resolution enhancement.
