High Efficiency InP Pillar Array Heterojunction Solar Cells

Abstract

Nanopillars can enhance solar cell performance, but the increased surface recombination often cancels performance gains. We demonstrate suppression of surface recombination through passivation of InP-pillar heterojunction solar cells, achieving a very high efficiency of 18.31%.
