Abstract

The inside-pumped Nd:YAG tube laser has been shown to yield the highest efficiency for flashlamp-pumped Nd:YAG lasers (ηtot = 7.5%).1,2 Apart from efficiency, another advantage of the tube laser is its high average power capability.
