Ultraviolet laser devices in cornea microsurgery

Open Access Open Access

Abstract

Ophthalmologicsal laser devices based on the excimer KRC1 laser (223 nm) have been developed. Optical systems for cornea profile shaping are described. The results of clinical tests for the correction of hypermetropia and myopia, and treatment of Herpes keratitis and glaucoma are presented.
