Abstract
The efficiency of harmonic generation of nonlinear crystals is closely related to the power density of the incident beam. The power density for the cw-YAG laser is rather low. To obtain high output of 530 nm second harmonics from a cw-YAG laser, the intracavity-doubling technique is often used.1,2
