Abstract

Photoconductive switching of semiconductors is a well-known technique for the fast activation of semiconductor switches, especially for microwave generation and control.1 Recent developments in the high-power (>100 MW) operaton of photoconductive switches have been reported2 for silicon junction devices operating in the linear mode.
