Abstract

Tunable, diode-pumped microlasers operating in the visible and infrared spectral regions are important sources for laser-based analytical spectroscopy and other applications. The recent development of visible diode lasers operating near 670 nm has made possible the demonstration of diode-pumped lasers in both Alexandrite1 and Cr:LiSAF.2
