Abstract
A Mach-Zehnder interferometer system is used to measure time-dependent index of refraction profiles in liquid photopolymer and in the solid formed during photopolymerization. The system required that the data be collected at a two- dimensional spatial array with a resolution of at least 25 μm. A miniature interferometer was assembled (Fig. 1) permitting imaging lenses to be placed close to the sample and providing the needed image size, and the data image was recorded with a video camera (CCD). The data (Fig. 2) are then transferred to a computer for capture and analysis.
