Abstract
LiNbO3 crystal is widely used in integrated optics because of its high electro-optic and nonlinear coefficients and because of the relatively advanced state of waveguide technology. However, the main drawback of LiNbO3 waveguides is their high sensibility to optical damage, particularly in a visible region.
