Tissue tearing caused by pulsed laser-induced pressure

Abstract

Tissue mechanical properties have been shown to affect ablation and thus are crucial factors involved in interpretation and modeling of pulsed laser ablation of tissue.1,2 Tissue structure also affects the extent of tearing in the nonablated tissue.
