Abstract

We have demonstrated the holographic imaging of femtosecond pulses using light- in-flight (LIF) techniques.1 All three spatial dimensions, plus time, with 100-fs resolution are captured in a 2-D hologram whose images can be reconstructed with cw illumination. The technique has been applied to several measurement problems where spatial images with 100-fs temporal resolution are necessary.
