Among the key species in combustion processes are intermediate short-lived atoms, e.g., O, H, C, and N. Some of these species are often possible to measure using laser-induced fluorescence.1-2 It has also recently been shown that two-photon induced stimulated emission (SE) may be used for their detection.3-5
