Abstract
The copper vapor laser (CVL) is an intense light source with an extremely high peak pulse output; however, the repetition rate of the pulse output is, so far, limited to several kilohertz. The increase in the repetition rate in orders of magnitude is strongly desired to expand the applicability of the laser. To meet the need, a high repetition rate discharge-heated CVL is developed.
