A AgGaSe2 OPTICAL PARAMETRIC OSCILLATOR PUMPED BY A RAMAN-SHIFTED YAG LASER

Abstract

The operation of a AgGaSe2, infrared parametric oscillator pumped by a Raman-shifted YAG laser at 1.9 μm is reported. Ouput energies up to 1.2 mJ were measured near 4.5 μm with a photon conversion efficiency of 10%.
