Abstract
Stimulated Brillouin scattering (SBS) has been shown to be an effective method of producing a phase conjugate beam. This paper reviews the technical issues relevant to using SBS for a hydrogen fluoride (HP) laser and recent experimental and theoretical results validating this application.
