Abstract

The bleaching of concentrated solutions of rhodamine 6G In methanol at room temperature is studied with single-picosecond light” pulses of a passively mode-locked Nd:glass laser (duration ΔtL ≃ 4 ps; wavelength λ = 526.5 nm). The dye concentration is varied between 10−2 and 0.6 mol/dm3. The dye solution is contained in a thin cell of adjustable thickness.
