Ellipsometric monitoring system and its application to a-Si:H film growth

Abstract

Ellipsometry is a useful technique for evaluating the optical constants and thickness of a film, but it has not been common to use it for process monitoring because of the time-consuming analysis and difficulty of attachment and optical adjustment of the monitoring system.
