Sealing properties of the plasma recombination laser

Abstract

Although laser action has been reported1 in single-and multiple-charged recombining ions, no attempt has been made to establish valuable scaling relations to address the potential of the recombination laser with respect to the specific energy attainable at short wavelengths.
