Abstract

Optical excitation of suitable materials with pulsed or cw lasers is a powerful method for the development of new laser systems. In the past few years interesting molecular laser systems such as the cw dimer lasers1 or photodissociation lasers2 have been obtained by this technique. This paper reports on new optically pumped lasers and new possible systems.
