Fourier optics approach for far forward scattering in a tokamak

Abstract

In collaboration with groups at Essen and Stuttgart (EURATOM/UKAEA Fusion Association) we have evolved a Fourier optics approach1 to the study of turbulence by cw laser scattering2 and have exploited it to investigate plasma density fluctuations in the Tosca tokamak.
