Abstract

We report on a picosecond switching technique based on electron-bombarded semiconductor and on bulk high resistivity semiconductors. The switching element is made of nearly intrinsic silicon, Cr:doped GaAs, or amorphous materials and is integrated in a microstrip or coaxial geometry.
