Abstract

Human malignant diseases lead to cellular detailed structures differences step by step from early stage. If these differences could be detected by light scattering pattern (LSP), it may supply a potential tool to predict serious diseases on cell level by label free method. We studied the effects on LSP due to different detailed structures of membrane, nucleus and sub-organelles by correlation analysis method. The results quantitatively show that detailed structures around membrane affect LSP more than others, which means diseases causing changes on membrane, like nephrosis making glomerular endothelial cell membrane thick, are hopeful to be detected in early stage by the noninvasive and label free LSP method.
