Abstract

We demonstrate a novel neurotransducer for nerve cells electric potential detection that is based on voltage sensitive dye coupled to a microlaser. The neurotransducer exhibits a sensitivity of Δλ/ΔE=−5*10−4nm/(V/m) and a resolution of 34 V/m.
