Abstract

927.8nm laser operating on the 4F3/2 to 4I9/2 transition is investigated with a Nd:Gd0.3Ta0.69O4 crystal. The average power reaches 1.35 W under 879 nm pumping with beam quality factors of Mx2=1.4 and My2=1.8.
