Coherent supercontinuum generation from 1.4 to 4 μm in a tapered fluorotellurite microstructured fiber

Abstract

We demonstrated coherent supercontinuum light expanding from 1.4 to 4 μm generated in a 4 cm long tapered fluorotellurite microstructured fiber pumped by a 1980 nm femtosecond fiber laser.
