Femtosecond Operation of Diode-pumped Nd,La:CaF2 and Nd,La:SrF2 lasers

Abstract

Passively mode-locked operation of a diode pumped Nd,La:CaF2 and Nd,La:SrF2 lasers is reported and compared. Pulses as short as 437 fs and 347 fs were generated in resonator with GVD compensation.
