Electrowetting adaptive optical devices for LIDAR

Abstract

Electrowetting devices are compact, low power, transmissive, and adaptable. We have demonstrated nonmechanical beam steering in a LIDAR system and imaging in a multiphoton microscope, with an electrowetting prism.
