Photonic Method for Microwave Doppler Frequency Shift Measurement Based on an Auxiliary Phase Shift

Abstract

Based on an auxiliary phase shift, an ultra-simple microwave Doppler frequency shift (DFS) measurement method with direction identification is proposed, by which the DFS measurement between ±100 kHz with < ±20 Hz error is achieved.
