Efficient Fiber Nonlinearity Compensation for Probabilistically Shaped Signals

Abstract

We propose a degenerated look-up table (DLUT) based perturbation nonlinear compensation scheme for probabilistically shaped signals. Up to 0.65 dB improvement is demonstrated comparing to the degenerated perturbative pre-distortion (DPPD).
