Adaptive Unscented Kalman Filter for Polarization Stake Tracking

Abstract

We present a novel adaptive unscented Kalman filter (UKF) for joint polarization tracking and phase noise compensation. The tracking speed is twice and the OSNR tolerance is improved by 6-dB compared with non-adaptive UKF.
