Abstract

The suppression of the conversion of intensity noise to phase noise in a Brillouin optoelectronic oscillator is experimentally demonstrated. Phase noise at 1kHz, 10kHz and 100kHz offset are reduced by 8dB, 11dB, and 9dB, respectively.
