Controlled switching of orbital angular momentum in an PPLN optical parametric oscillator

Abstract

We propose a novel experimental scheme of controlled switching of orbital angular momentum in a 1-µm vortex pumped MgO:PPLN optical parametric oscillator. With this system, vortex output achieved in the wavelength range of 1.54-1.63 μm and 3-3.4 μm.
