Optical frequency comb generation based on gain-switched microcavity laser under optical injection

Abstract

A flat optical comb is generated based on gain-switched square microcavity lasers together with optical injection-locking. 10 spectral lines with 2 dB power variation are demonstrated and 18 lines are realized by suppressing periodic doubling.
