Abstract

A 72 optical hybrid is demonstrated employing a 5 5 multimode interference coupler which exhibits an extinction ratio larger than 20 dB from×1470 nm to 1581 nm and a phase deviation of ±6.2 with the bandwidth of 48 nm. © 2019 The Author(s)
