Abstract

We demonstrate an ultracompact bandwidth tunable filter based on subwavelength grating (SWG) on silicon-on-insulator (SOI) wafer. A bandwidth tunability of ~6 nm is achieved and the length of coupling region is only 100 μm. © 2019 The Author(s)
