Instantaneous Frequency and Phase Noise Measurements for Wavelength Swept Lasers

Abstract

The instantaneous frequency and phase noise of a DS-DBR laser are investigated for SS-OCT application. Results indicate when the acquisition interval time is larger than 30ns the laser can keep a good phase stability.
