A Study of Nonlinear Coefficient Measurement of Various Types of Single Mode Fibers

Abstract

We measured the influence of fibre length and wavelength separation on the nonlinear coefficient measurement based on continuous-wave dual-frequency method. Besides, the nonlinear coefficients of various types of single mode fibres are presented.
