High Efficiency Graphene Phase Modulator Based on Silicon Spiral Waveguide

Abstract

A novel graphene phase modulator based on silicon spiral waveguide is designed with high efficiency. A π/3 phase shift can be achieved with the voltage range of (1.1 ~2.3) V within a ultra-compact interaction size (32.25 × 32.25) µm2.
