Monolithic Integration of III-V Quantum Dot Lasers on Silicon for Silicon Photonics

Abstract

The silicon-based telecommunications-wavelength III-V quantum-dot lasers with extremely low threshold current density, high output power, and long lifetime will be presented, and hence be a new platform for silicon-photonics integration.
