Chaotic Radial Constellation Rotation for Physical-layer Security in OFDM-PON

Abstract

A novel physical-layer data encryption scheme is proposed using chaotic radial constellation rotation in OFDM-PON. The encrypted data transmission is successfully demonstrated for 9.4-Gb/s 16-QAM OFDM signals over 20 km fiber.
