On-chip Raman Spectroscopy Enabled by Silicon Photonics

Open Access Open Access

Abstract

Raman spectroscopy is a powerful label-free technique enabling molecular detection and identification. Most Raman spectroscopy systems are bulky and expensive. Here we report on our efforts towards a Raman spectroscopy system integrated on a chip through the use of silicon photonics technology.
