High repetition-rate 2 μm ultrafast source for data communication and processing

Abstract

Spectrally masked phase modulation technique is used to demonstrate a 2 μm picosecond source, with continuously tunable repetition rate up to 6 GHz. Such a source is useful for 2 μm data communication and processing.
