Coherent Polarization Beam Combining of High Power Fiber Lasers: Progress and Prospect

Abstract

We report recent advance in coherent polarization beam combining of fiber lasers. Power scaling of all-fiberized linear-polarized fiber amplifier is studied, four channels of kilo-watt level narrow-linewidth linear-polarized fiber amplifiers are coherently polarization combined with 5.02 kW output power.
