Distance-Aware Requester Grouping for Distributed Sub-Tree Scheme in Elastic Optical Datacenter Networks

Abstract

A distance-aware requester grouping (DA-RG) strategy which aims to minimize the total spectrum consumption of all constructed sub-trees is proposed for the distributed sub-tree scheme. Simulations show that DA-RG achieves spectrum-efficient multicast service provisioning.
